Vintage masculine card

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing a card that I have created for sparkles monthly challenges.  This months theme is 'For men only'.

I have used these beautiful forest grunge papers from Pink monarch prints. A Tim Holtz paper doll and a vellum vintage advertisement from my own stash.

I took a pre-scored kraft card, inked the edges of the papers with vintage photo distress ink and then adhered them to the blank card using double sided tape.

I have also used a small piece of film strip ribbon.

I have adhered everything with cosmic shimmer glue, which dries clear underneath the vellum advert and film strip ribbon.

I also added an eyelet to the film ribbon using my Cropodile.

I also added a small Tim Holtz ephemera snippet underneath the paper doll. Finally, I added a quote sticker to finish.

Thank you so much for stopping by the Den, I really do appreciate your visit and lovely comments!

Tim Holtz Artist Trading Card

Hello my lovelies, hope you are well and staying safe? There's so much chaos and uncertainty in the world right now. Everybody is unnerved and a lot of people in the crafting community are showing camaraderie and sending out a positive message to carry on crafting, which I think is a great idea.
Please though stay indoors if you can and take care of yourselves and your families.

Arty Divas  is hosting their brand new challenge, which starts today. The theme is ATG and you can create anything you wish, a card, tag, an ATC, mixed media project etc! The Design Team look forward to seeing your lovely creations!

For my DT creation I have made a friendship ATC. My mojo has been missing lately, so a small project is just what I needed to get back into the swing of things!

I have created a collage background using various torn pieces of paper and ephemera. Everything has been distressed with Vintage Photo Distress ink.
Finally, I adhered these wonderful Tim Holtz paper dolls, I just love them!

Thank you so much for stopping by, I really appreciate your visit and kind comments!
Stay safe.

A vintage journal

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! today I am sharing some pages from my vintage journal that I created a short while back. I have seen so many amazing journals online, that I was inspired to create my own!

I found this lovely vegan leather mini journal and thought it was the perfect size to work with!

I found it quite difficult to break my first page, but once I surrounded myself with some of my vintage goodies, I found it went smoothly! I have had these Tim Holtz paper dolls laying around in my stash for some time now, so I had to break the package open and use them on my pages!

I love creating in my journal and I wish that I had started much sooner! Thanks so much for stopping by, I really appreciate your visit!
