Roller skates!

Hello lovely friends,
hope that you are well!

Tonight I am sharing with you another vintage
Christmas tag that I have recently made.

Here, I have used beautiful vintage style papers
from First Edition 'the promise' collection.

I highly recommend this paper collection, it is so beautiful;
even though it has some wedding designs, you can
use it for other projects like this one.

I created this tag from plain white card stock,
and three layers of paper.
Once the base of the tag had been created,
I then added this wonderful vintage image.

The snowflake is made from an Xcut paper punch.
I used plain white card stock and completely
covered it with Deco art glamour dust.
I love this glitter, it is so super sparkly!

Lastly, I used a Marianne collectables Christmas tree die
from the Christmas village decoration set.
Which has also been accented with Deco art glamour dust.

I have also used cheese cloth and off-white mulberry roses
and some sparkly white stamens.

I printed off the words 'Merry Christmas' and adhered them to
my tag. The edges of these words and the paper that
I have used, have all been distressed using
Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink.

Thanks for stopping by,
see you on the next post.

Merry Christmas!

Hello lovely friends,
hope you are well!

Here is another Christmas tag that
I have made recently.

This one is very vintage!

Here, I have used beautiful papers
(the checked paper) is from the Maja Design
'A gift for you' collection
and the wood design paper is from my own craft stash.

I adhered some cream vintage lace underneath this
beautiful vintage photo and also printed out the words
'Merry Christmas'
I have also used a tiny snowflake embellishment.

Lastly, I added some cheese cloth,
wine red mulberry roses and a glitter embellishment
that spells the word 'joy'.

I have really enjoyed making this!

Let it snow!

Hello lovely friends,
hope you are well!

So, it's been a while since my last post hasn't it?!
I've been very busy making Christmas tags for
friends and family and I cannot believe
that Christmas will be upon us very soon.

Here is one of the tags that I have made.

I wanted to make something very shabby chic;
and I just adore this Victorian Angel image,
it's so beautiful.

Thanks once again for stopping by,

Darling, YOU are fabulous!

Hello again dear friends,
I do hope that you are well!

Here is an altered art tag that I have made.

I have used this beautiful mermaid image before
on another project and I absolutely LOVE her!

I have also used wood texture and floral paper
from my own craft stash to create
the background.

Here, I have added an orange butterfly to match
the mermaids wings and I printed out
the words 'Darling, you are fabulous'
I have also used music-note tissue paper to add
more interest to the paper collage.

Thanks for stopping by,
see you on the next post.

Be brave, be bold

Hello again lovely friends,
hope you are well!

I finally finished my artist trading card,
that I have been working on for a while now.

I think my crafting mojo had gone A.W.O.L
for a short time!

I have used this beautiful vintage image
to create this ATC and a created a collage
using different scrapbook paper and tissue paper,
I have also used part of an old book page.

Finally, I adhered a beautiful butterfly to the ATC
and I have added cinnamon stickles to
the wings to give it a little extra sparkle!

I have also adhered the words
"be brave, be bold"

Cute Zombie art tag

Hello again lovely friends,
hope that you are well!

I know I'm a little late posting my
last halloween tag of 2017
but anyway, here it is!

I have used this quirky zombie couple
digi stamp by Veralane studios.

Here, I have used Carta bella 'All Hallows eve' paper,
and music note tissue paper to create
the background for my tag.

Finally, I have used a Martha Stewart drippy goo edge punch
and spiderweb punch to create a border and
a corner embellishment.

I'm not short!

Hello dear friends,
hope you are well!

Today I am sharing with you an
altered art tag that I have made
using another fabulous
 VeraLane studios digi stamp.

I wanted the colours to be bright and bold
So I have used Tim Holtz
distress inks and Staedtler colouring pencils.

I have used a Kaisercraft
crackle texture background stamp
and Tim Holtz ruler and stitch rubber stamps.

Next, I coloured in this delightful digi stamp
using green, peach and brown Staedtler pencils,
which I adhered to my tag.

Finally, I added some ruler Washi tape and
two orange fussy cut butterflies.
I have also added the words
"I'm not short, I'm just concentrated awesome"!
