Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing a lovely vintage card that I have created for this months challenge over at Christmas cards all year 'round. The theme is Christmas/winter hot drinks.

To create my card I have used these beautiful Christmas papers from Pink Monarch prints.

I have also used this wonderful Mr's Claus coffee shop journal card from The Curious wonderland.

Finally, I adhered a number tag from Shabby dabby doodah.

Vintage bird card

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing my DT creation for the Mid month design over at Arty Divas.

I have created a vintage card using this beautiful bird image, which I also altered by using a text stamp along with black soot distress ink.

Here I have added some gold leaf flakes along with cosmic shimmer acrylic glue. I found this glue to be the best to use. I dusted the excess flakes off with a soft paint brush.

I have also adhered a Grunge number label behind the bird image.

This beautiful paper is from Pink Monarch Prints.
The vintage music sheet is from My Porch Prints.

There is still time left to join in with the current challenge over at Arty Divas.

The DT would love to see your lovely creations!

Thank you so much for stopping by the Den! I really do appreciate your visit! See you on the next post.

Vintage masculine card

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing a card that I have created for sparkles monthly challenges.  This months theme is 'For men only'.

I have used these beautiful forest grunge papers from Pink monarch prints. A Tim Holtz paper doll and a vellum vintage advertisement from my own stash.

I took a pre-scored kraft card, inked the edges of the papers with vintage photo distress ink and then adhered them to the blank card using double sided tape.

I have also used a small piece of film strip ribbon.

I have adhered everything with cosmic shimmer glue, which dries clear underneath the vellum advert and film strip ribbon.

I also added an eyelet to the film ribbon using my Cropodile.

I also added a small Tim Holtz ephemera snippet underneath the paper doll. Finally, I added a quote sticker to finish.

Thank you so much for stopping by the Den, I really do appreciate your visit and lovely comments!

The Owls serenade

A wise old owl sat in an oak,
The more he heard, the less he spoke
The less he spoke, the more he heard,
why aren't we all like that wise old bird?

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing a vintage owl card that I have created.

I have used these beautiful papers from Pink Monarch Prints and this lovely vintage Owl advertisement from Pinterest.

To make my card, I have used some Kraft cardstock along with the Christmas junk journal papers. I have distressed all edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. Next, I tore some corrugated cardboard and adhered it to the left side of my card.

Here I have designed my own vintage library card. This is a fun way to personalise some ephemera.

Next, I adhered this beautiful red poinsettia along with red glitter stamens and some twine, which I wrapped around the owl image. I also added two feather die cuts from kraft cardstock.

Thank you so much for stopping by the Den! See you on the next post!
