Forever - for Sunday Postcard Art

Hi lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am hosting over at Sunday postcard art. I am really thrilled that Mandy asked me to design something for her challenge! I chose the theme 'Wedding'!

To create my postcard, I have used this beautiful vintage photo from Jday minis. It is one of my favourites that I've had in my collection for the past few years.
I have also used this wonderful paper from the rose garden kit.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Den! I hope that you will hop over to the challenge

TFJB Guest Design Team Member- Love is all around

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! today I am Guest Designing over at The Funkie Junkie Boutique, it is such an honour to create a design for the 'Love is all around challenge'.

The theme is to create a vintage or shabby chic project featuring hearts. I chose to make a card using this darling vintage image from Etsy.

I have also used this beautiful Pure love mini paper pack from Gecko Galz. Once I adhered two layers of paper from the kit, I then added the vintage image to the center of my card using score tape. I have also adhered this wonderful vibrant pink geranium and small white flowers along with various leaf dies, cut from white card stock.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I really appreciate your visit. I also hope you can join in with the challenge over at the TFJB too!

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today, I have some very exciting news to share with you all! I am so excited and honored to be Guest Designing over at Gecko Galz.

I have created two ATC's, the first one following the theme of their monthly challenge, which is Gypsy Fortunes.

To create this, I have used the Gypsy spirit digital collage sheet and Gypsy market digital paper pack.

For my next ATC, I have used the Starlight magic collage sheet and the Dream weaver ATC collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by, please do check out the wonderful challenge over at Gecko Galz.

Go where you feel most alive

Hello lovely friends, hope you are well!

I am so thrilled and honoured to be a Guest Designer this Month over on the
Frilly and Funkie Challenge blog
Our hostess, Sara Emily has chosen the following as this Months theme:

“Having just returned from our annual trek to the mountains of West Virginia where we observed so much natural beauty on our hikes, I couldn't help but make my challenge nature themed. You can make anything you like, from a card or tag to altered art, just be sure to include a natural element in your vintage or shabby chic project. Think real twigs, leaves, shells, pebbles. Or you could include a die cut or a stamped or stenciled  image representing a natural object.”

I wanted to create a real feel of nature for this tag, so I have used neutral tones. I have used a variety of papers from Maja design and Lemon craft and this delightful bird image. I distressed all layers with Walnut stain distress ink.

Here I have used a Tim Holtz Bingo embossing folder on the top layer of paper, I also tore the edges, the paper was quite thin, which made the fibres break down a little, but the end result gave more of an old and worn distressed look, which I was happy with!

To complete the final look, I used a grunge background stamp along with Black soot distress ink, which I applied on to the main image. I have also used the Tim Holtz Holiday Greens die set to use as a natural element and I printed out the words 'go where you feel most alive' and adhered those to the
bottom of the tag.

Hope you like my nature inspired tag!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Hugs,
Zowie xx
