The seven witches of menopause ~ part one

Hello lovelies, 'hope you are well! I hope that you had a lovely Christmas time and I would like to wish everyone a 'Happy New Year', I hope that 2026 brings you lots of love, laughter and light.

Today I am sharing some funny Menopause altered art tags that I have created. I am indeed on the horizon of perimenopause and I think as fearless women we should be able to speak confidently and honestly about perimenopause and menopause.

So why not?! we are strong, beautiful women after all! And I hope that you can have a lighthearted chuckle along with me!

With a thought in mind, I came across some funny menopause memes while I was surfing Pinterest.
'the Seven witches of menopause'
I also came across these vintage photographs of a few women who look quite unamused! Then, my creative ideas took flight as they always do!

I have used these wonderful collage papers from art house whimsy and these journal tags from vintage digital rose.

I have also used a combination of vintage music sheets, washi tapes and vintage bingo cards. To complete my tags I have added stamped images and word labels that I designed myself.

I hope that I have inspired you to create your own tags!

Thank you so much for stopping by the Den, I really appreciate your visit and kind comments!

Victorian postcards

Hello lovelies, hope you are keeping well! I know it's been such a long period of time since I last shared any art here on my blog. I have had some health problems recently and not had much energy to create. But Tonight I am sharing some Victorian postcards that I have created using these beautiful photos. It feels good to sit down and create some vintage pieces at last!

On the next blog post you can read about William and Emilys' romantic love story.

I have used Canva and an array of photos and Png's to create these vintage postcards. Hope you like them as much as I do!

Faux vintage ID cards

Hello lovelies, hope you are keeping well! Tonight I am sharing some faux vintage ID cards inspired by Monica Taylor. Thank you to Monica for the wonderful inspiration!

I created these by using plain Kraft card stock, then I rounded the corners with my Xcut corner punch. Next, I distressed the edges of the card using vintage photo distress ink.

Here I have used these wonderful freebie photo booth photographs from Monica Taylor. Which I matted on to plain black card stock. I also distressed the photo with Vintage photo ink.

I have used these lovely clear stamps:

Cathe Holden sign here stamps
Tim Holtz holiday postmarks rubber stamps

I have stamped them using:

Ground espresso distress ink
Vintage photo distress ink
Tuxedo black memento ink.

I have used the same technique for this ID card, but have used another rubber stamp:

Tim Holtz correspondence rubber stamp set.

I really hope that I have inspired you to create your own faux vintage ID cards!
