DT project - Life in a snapshot challenge November 2016

Hi friends,
hope you are well!

Here is my DT project for Life in a snapshot design team
November challenge.
I wanted to create a Christmas card this time.

I have used a pre-scored Kraft card and this
wonderful vintage Christmas paper by a company called TNco.

They design such beautiful paper collections.

Both sheets of paper have been distressed using the blade of
my scissors and Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink.

Here I have used these beautiful stamps by Crafty Individuals, which
I stamped onto watercolour cardstock using jet black Stazon ink.

I coloured the images using Aged mahogany, Crushed olive
and Vintage photo distress markers with a paintbrush and water.

Once dry, I then layered them onto single squares of
Kraft cardstock. Next, I adhered those onto the card itself.

Finally, I used a border of coordinating paper and adhered that
in between the stamped images. I also made a bow using
the same paper and added a single red crystal gem into the centre
to give it a little bit of Christmas bling!
