For my first altered book cover, I have added these wonderful shabby chic scrapbook papers from Maja Design and a vintage music sheet from my own stash. I completed my cover by adhering a vintage photo frame along with this beautiful photograph {how darling is this baby?!} some vintage lace and a vintage lace bow decorated with a beautiful pearl brooch as a centre piece. I finally added a wonderful Victorian calendar dated 1910.
For my second altered book cover, I have added some more shabby papers from the Maja Design scrapbook paper pack and a torn vintage music sheet from my own stash also. I completed my cover by adhering another vintage photo frame along with this beautiful photograph of this sweet child. Again, I added some vintage lace and a shabby chic flower decorated with another beautiful pearl brooch as a centre piece.
I hope that I have inspired you to create your own vintage altered book covers!
Thank you so much for stopping by the Den, I really appreciate your visit and kind comments!

Wow, they're gorgeous and the design is very elegant. The papers you've chosen are perfect for the image and you've played very well with the colour palette. Thanks for joining us at A Place To Start. Hugs, María.
