A little thank you

Hello dear friends,
thanks for stopping by again.

I have a little story to tell today..

I have made this shabby chic card for a very kind and
lovely lady.

I haven't been feeling too well at the moment due to
some health problems and when I had a very
unsuccessful appointment with one of the doctors at
my local surgery earlier on this week,
it left me feeling very upset.

There is a lovely lady who is a pharmacist at the same surgery
and she has always been so kind towards me,
and always gives great advice on medications etc.

But on that day, she really listened to me and took the time out of
her busy schedule to help me and advise me on certain matters
concerning my health and other things that life throws at you.

It is so nice to know that there still are kind and considerate
people left in this world.

I am really grateful to this lady, so I wanted to make her
something as a way to say 'thank you'.

In life, we go through so many things; some days
are really bad and sometimes we get so consumed by
them, that we seem to forget the little
things that happen.
Those little things that make you stop and smile.

Vintage lovers

Hello dear friends,
hope you are well!

Today, I am sharing with you a sweet vintage
altered art tag that I have made.

I just LOVE this beautiful image
of these two vintage lovers.

It always makes me wonder who these people
are and what their story is?

I wanted to keep this pretty simple
and make this photo the focal point
for my altered tag.

I decided to type the words
"your heart sings and my soul listens"
as I thought it fitted perfectly!

I guess I'm just an old romantic at heart!

Thanks for stopping by,
see you on the next post

To the dreamer... everything is possible

Hello again lovely friends,
hope you are well!

Here is a vintage altered tag that I have made.

I love using vintage images in my projects,
and this little chap fitted perfectly for this!

I gave him some beautiful butterfly wings to match the
background of the tag and I added
the words "to the dreamer everything is possible"

See you on the next post,

Perfect paper dolls!

Hello lovely friends,
I am back again this evening to show some altered
art tags that I have made over the last few days.

I have seen a lot of fabulous art using paper dolls and wanted to try
my hand at it too.

I have loved making these tags!

Marie Antoinette altered tag

Hello lovely friends,
hope you are well!

Today, I want to share with you this dreamy shabby chic
Marie Antionette altered art tag that I have made.

I used a piece of white card stock that I
cut to tag size and covered it with beautiful papers from
First Edition 'The promise' collection.

Next, I added some vintage lace and adhered this delightful
Marie Antionette paper doll image.
Then, I added a beautiful pink mulberry rose, which has
been adhered on top of some die cut leaves and baby pink pearl stamens.

Next, I printed out the words "Every day is a fashion show and the
world is the runway" and adhered them on to the tag.

I have also adhered some fussy cut butterflies, which have
been embellished with Cotton Candy stickles.

To finish, I made a hole in the top of the tag
and threaded some vintage lace
and sparkly white fibres through it. I also
added this lovely baby pink rose cabochon and pearl trim.

Thanks once again for stopping by,
see you on the next post.
