Vintage collage tags/bookmarks

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing some vintage collage tags/bookmarks that I have made. I was inspired by a wonderful artist on Instagram called CB Expressions.

To create these, I have used some left over paper scraps that I had in my stash. This cute little birdie is from a vintage book published in1975. I have been thrift store shopping recently!

Merriest Christmas- TTCRD

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing my DT creation for TTCRD. There's a brand new challenge and our fab sponsors are The project bin. The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to spend in store.

Here is a little info about them:

The Project Bin was started because its founder, Denise Storck (a long-time stamper and paper-crafter), couldn't find a stamp that said "You are awesome sauce", so she decided to make her own! One thing led to another, and now her small business fills a niche in the card making industry for unique word art sentiments in the highest quality photopolymer clear stamps, made in the U.S.A.

To create my tag I have used the Merriest Christmas stamp set from The project bin.

Thanks so much for stopping by, see you on the next post! Hugs, Zowie xx

Dapper dogs! - a new addition!

Hello lovely friends, hope you are well! Today I am sharing with you two vintage tags that I have made. I love doggos and have always wanted one to complete my family, but circumstances with where I was living, did not allow me to have any pets. But I am excited to announce that there is now a new addition to my family. Our gorgeous Princess came to live with us three weeks ago and she has settled in just perfectly! We have so much love and time to give her and I just adore her! Please scroll down if you would like to see more photographs of her..

 Our newest family member.

I found these fabulous vintage images and have used them to make two art tags.

I have used this lovely paper from Raspberry Road Designs

I started with two plain white tags cut from basic cardstock and adhered the paper using double-sided tape. I distressed the edges of the paper using a distressing tool and Ground Espresso distress oxide.

Next, I added some corrugated cardboard, distressed with ground espresso distress oxide. The main image has been adhered with double-sided tape and pop dots.

Finally, I fussy cut some Bumble Bee clipart and added them to the tag.

Here are some more photos of my doggo:

'Twas the night before Christmas

Hello lovely friends, hope you are well!

Tonight I am sharing with you another vintage Christmas tag that I have made.

Here I have used various vintage style digital papers which I layered and distressed with Espresso Distress Oxide. I have also used this gorgeous nostalgic Father Christmas image, which has been used as a focal point on my tag.

Music sheet: LaBoutiqueDeiColori
Vintage coffee colour: Secret Garden set 2
Nostalgic Father Christmas: NostalgieGrafikland

I have also used this darling vintage Christmas stamp.

Here I created a poinsettia using the same papers and a Tattered lace poinsettia die and embossing folder. Three Christmas trees have been made from Kraft card stock and the Marianne Createables Christmas village decoration die set. I also embossed the trees with the same poinsettia embossing folder to give them some more interest.

Finally, I added the sentiment 'Twas the night before Christmas'

Hope you like my tag! thank you so much for stopping by.

Welcome Fall

Hello lovely friends, hope you are well!

Today I am sharing an art tag which has been inspired by the beautiful colours of Fall
(or Autumn, as we call it here in the U.K!) I just love how Mother Nature changes from season to season, she is truly wondrous!

Here I have used paper from my own Craft Stash and this gorgeous vintage image.

I have also used these burnt orange Botanicals and a piece of torn
corrugated cardboard. I also printed out this sentiment and adhered it to my tag.

I wanted to create a few layers on my tag, so here I have used a vintage library card and ticket stub. All edges have been distressed with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide.

Here are a couple of close ups of my tag.

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to visit, I really do appreciate it,

hugs, Zowie xx

Nature pocket card

Hello dear friends, hope you are well!

Today, I am sharing with you a nature inspired pocket card that I recently made, inspired by the lovely and extremely talented Stacy Zimmerman Hutchinson from Tattered Nest Designs

To start, I took a blank Kraft envelope and covered all sides with these beautiful digital papers from the Secret Garden set 02 and Secret Garden set 04

For the inside of the card, I created some pockets to store my art tags HERE  which I made for this project. Here I have hand-stitched a beautiful vintage photo booth photograph to give some added interest and I also added a vintage stamp and some Botanicals.

I have adhered some music note tissue paper to this pocket, which I also used on my tags to match the theme.

These beautiful Botanicals have been inked with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide as have all the edges of the pocket card and tags.

I have also used these beautiful Vintage bird illustrations as tags and as a focal image for the front of my pocket card.

Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate your visit!
