Coffin treat boxes - This is Halloween challenge

 

Hi lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing my DT creations for the new challenge over at 'This Is Halloween'

I have created some coffin treat boxes using plain black card stock and a metal die cut. I have decorated the boxes with some Kraft, lace design paper from my own craft stash which I purchased from a local craft shop called The Works. 

I have distressed all edges of the kraft paper with Black soot Distress ink. 

Next, I adhered a black rose and some cheese cloth which has been dyed also with Black soot distress ink and water.  Lastly, I added a spooky Halloween label.

It's a mystery! .... A tale of Sherlock Holmes!

 

Hi lovelies, hope you are well? Today I am sharing some Sherlock Holmes artist trading cards that I created for a swap over at My Altered Reality.

Each month, Kim hosts an ATC swap, with free image sheets to use in your creations. Please do visit her Blog for more details on how to enter the monthly swaps. 

Using the 'It's a mystery' image sheets, I created three ATC's for my swap partner. I started with three blank kraft cards measured at 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches. 

For the card on the left, I decorated it with the dog tooth design paper and one of the Sherlock newspaper clippings. I then fussy cut the image of Sherlock Holmes and adhered them to the card. I have edged everything with Vintage Photo Distress ink. 

I then cut some cogs using a cog die and black cardstock. I ran those through an embossing folder to give them some extra interest. I then glued them to some vellum to give a see-through backing. 

For the card on the right; I added some vintage style washi tape, vintage ticket and a Tim Holtz mini quote sticker. 

Lastly, for the middle card, I again used the images from the free sheets provided. I took a piece of ephemera which I backed on to Kraft card stock and then used my Cropodile to add an eyelet.

Frida Kahlo

Hi lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing some Frida Kahlo cards that I have created. 

I have used these wonderful Frida images from ArtDeco over on Etsy. And these beautiful papers are from the Coffee kit from ManuDesigns studio. 

For the card on the right, I have used a parrot ephemera piece, a Tim Holtz star stamp along with Black soot distress ink. I also inked the edges of the paper with vintage photo distress ink. 

I have also added Frida Kahlo quotes which I printed out. 

For this card, I added some flower and cute monkey ephemera pieces.

Wicked! This Is Halloween challenge

 

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing my DT creation for 'This Is Halloween' craft challenge. 

There's a beautiful prize to be won from our resident sponsor Lilli Rain Designs

I have created this spooky Halloween card using plain black cardstock. I then adhered a piece of paper from the Tim Holtz Departed paper pad. 

Next, I used another piece of paper from the same pad along with the mixed media set 2 thinlits die. 

Using glossy accents I adhered some Ideaology film strip ribbon on to the left side of the card.  

Finally, I added this spooky Tim Holtz cabinet card and Ideaology Halloween label tape.
