Joy

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing a lovely vintage Christmas card that I have created for this months challenge over at Sparkles Christmas challenges  The theme is 'Christmas flowers/foliage'.

Please carry on reading to see how I created my card:

I first took a blank piece of pre-scored kraft card stock and then adhered these beautiful papers from my my porch prnts. I have distressed all edges of the papers with vintage photo distress ink.

Next, I adhered this wonderful image from the graphics fairy. You can find so many great free images over there to print for personal use.

Here I have used a vintage music sheet along with a Poinsettia die. I have used vintage photo distress ink on the edges of the Poinsettia to make the flower look aged.

To finish my card,  I have adhered a small piece of washi tape and a word label.

I really hope that I have inspired you to make you own vintage Christmas card and hope that you will enter the challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Den, I really appreciate your visit and kind comments!

Merry little Robin

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing some DT creations that I have designed for

I have created a vintage Christmas card using these stunning papers from the Merry Lil' Christmas creative kit. I just adore this little Robin!
(My Mother used to love Robins, so every time I see one, I am fondly reminded of her) As you know, I just love anything vintage! and adding vintage to Christmas, I think is the perfect combination!

Here I have used a small Poinsettia die along with dark red card stock. The branches are created from Kraft card stock and Tim Holtz's Holiday Greens thinlit die set. I think they match perfectly with these beautiful papers!

The vintage music paper is from my stash, and has really complimented the luxury green and red Tartan/Plaid designer papers from the kit.

I have also created a small tag book to match my card.

I used some Kraft card stock along with the smaller tag die from Tim Holtz's Tag collection die set. I decorated the outside with the same papers from the Merry Lil' Christmas creative kit. I also adhered a Tim Holtz Christmas word label and I added a mini paper clip as a closure. All edges of the card and paper have been distressed with Vintage Photo Distress ink.

For the inside of the tag book, I scored and folded it into equal parts. I then decorated it with the same vintage music sheet. In the middle of the book, I added some left over scraps of paper from the kit and stapled them into the book. Quick and easy!

On the bottom part of the tag, I used a Tim Holtz  'Happy Holidays' stamp along with Black Soot Distress ink.

Thank you so much for stopping by the Den, I really do appreciate your visit! You can find more information on the Merry Lil' Christmas creative kit here:
