Oceanic mixed media altered tag

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing a mixed media Oceanic tag that I have created.
To begin, I used a white cardstock tag and on to that I adhered grey paper. Next, I used Decoart modelling paste through a Tim Holtz bubble stencil. Once the paste was dry, I then used a combination of Tattered Angels Patina glimmer mist and Lindy's stamp gang, blue Hawaiian blue and starburst spray (drying in between sprays with a heat tool) over the dry paste.
Next I added some torn text tissue paper, using a glue stick, to certain parts of the tag.
Once the background was created, I then adhered a honeycomb die cut (in kraft cardstock) to the top left and bottom right hand corner of the tag. Next, I added some torn cardboard in certain places and I also adhered a beautiful Seahorse embellishment to the centre.
I also adhered some cheesecloth and an old M & C Boutique natural foliage diecut. Next, I added some burlap string, Xcut cog dies and an anchor embellishment to the corner of my tag. The foliage die has also been sprayed with the same Lindy's and Tattered Angels spray mists.
To finish, I used Tim Holtz picket fence distress paint and vintage photo distress ink to highlight certain areas on my tag.
Thanks so much for stopping by the Den, I really appreciate your visit and kind comments!

Vintage nautical shaker card

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing a shaker card with a vintage nautical theme.

For the bottom layer of my card, I have used this lovely wood texture paper from my stash. Next, I have used this beautiful blue paper from ManuDesign Studio. I used a circle die to cut the space for the part of the shaker card. I adhered a cello bag behind the paper and added brown and blue sequins.

For the top layer of my card, I used a larger circle die along with Kraft cardstock, which I ran through an embossing folder to give more interest.

Next, I fussy cut this wonderful vintage Sailor boy image, which I edged with Vintage photo distress ink

Finally, I added a word label and some floral arrangements of blue and white mulberry flowers.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Den, I really appreciate your visit and kind comments!
