Altered vintage book covers

Hello lovelies, 'hope you are well! today I am sharing two lovely shabby chic altered book covers that I have created using these darling vintage photographs.

For my first altered book cover, I have added these wonderful shabby chic scrapbook papers from Maja Design and a vintage music sheet from my own stash. I completed my cover by adhering a vintage photo frame along with this beautiful photograph {how darling is this baby?!} some vintage lace and a vintage lace bow decorated with a beautiful pearl brooch as a centre piece. I finally added a wonderful Victorian calendar dated 1910.

For my second altered book cover, I have added some more shabby papers from the Maja Design scrapbook paper pack and a torn vintage music sheet from my own stash also. I completed my cover by adhering another vintage photo frame along with this beautiful photograph of this sweet child. Again, I added some vintage lace and a shabby chic flower decorated with another beautiful pearl brooch as a centre piece.

I hope that I have inspired you to create your own vintage altered book covers!

Valentine collage postage stamps & altered film strips

Hello lovelies, 'hope you are well! today I am sharing some lovely Valentine collage art postage stamps and collage art altered film strips that I have created using these sweet images from mean kitty.

I have used an array of vintage background papers, wax seals and mixed media art stamps to create my vintage film strips and postage stamps.

For my film strips, I have used the same technique as my postage stamps, creating both a vintage and mixed media combination. I love creating collage art, as it's such a fun way of experimenting with your creative ideas!

I hope that I have inspired you to create your own Valentine collage  postage stamps & film strips!
