Joy

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing a lovely vintage Christmas card that I have created for this months challenge over at Sparkles Christmas challenges  The theme is 'Christmas flowers/foliage'.

Please carry on reading to see how I created my card:

I first took a blank piece of pre-scored kraft card stock and then adhered these beautiful papers from my my porch prnts. I have distressed all edges of the papers with vintage photo distress ink.

Next, I adhered this wonderful image from the graphics fairy. You can find so many great free images over there to print for personal use.

Here I have used a vintage music sheet along with a Poinsettia die. I have used vintage photo distress ink on the edges of the Poinsettia to make the flower look aged.

To finish my card,  I have adhered a small piece of washi tape and a word label.

I really hope that I have inspired you to make you own vintage Christmas card and hope that you will enter the challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Den, I really appreciate your visit and kind comments!

Altered vintage Christmas gift bag

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing a recreation of a vintage Christmas altered gift bag that I have designed. I loved making this first time round, so I sat down at my desk and created another one! I have to say it is one of my favourite creations!

A list of ingredients will be at the bottom of this page!

There is a brand new challenge over at Sparkles Christmas challenge  and the theme is 'use a sleigh' so I thought this would be perfect as my DT creation.

Products that I have used to create this are:

Maja design 'A gift for you' paper collection

Die'sire classiques Christmas Santas sleigh metal die

Xcut lace holly mini die

M and C Boutique natural theme die

Heritage Christmas reindeer wooden embellishment

Mulberry roses in cream and wine red tones

Christmas red berry embellishments.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Den, see you on the next post!

Yule tide

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing a lovely vintage CAS card that I have created for this months challenge over at Sparkles Christmas challenge  The theme is 'Clean and simple'.

To make my card I have used this beautiful vintage music sheet from Vintagebyme and beige floral paper from Nostalgie Grafikland.

I layered the paper on to a piece of pre-scored Kraft cardstock. I also inked the edges of the paper with vintage photo distress ink.

Next, I adhered a Tim Holtz Christmas ephemera image.

I don't normally make CAS cards, so I found this to be a little out of my comfort zone. But, I like the outcome!

Cute dog Christmas card- vintage style

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! I have some great news to share with you all; I am thrilled to announce that I am now part of the Sparkles Christmas challenge Design Team!

For my first design, I have created my vintage Christmas card. The theme of the challenge is Christmas cute critters. As a dog mom to my fur baby Roxie (a seven year old Staffordshire Bull terrier) I wanted to use a vintage image of a cute dog.

I have also created my own Christmas calendar which I have used on my card.

I have used this sheet of lovely checked paper from Nostalgie Grafikland.

To finish my card, I adhered this cute dog image and a 'Merry Christmas' label that I printed out.

I have also created this lovely Poinsettia arrangement along with some frayed cheese cloth.

Thank you so much for stopping by the Den, I really appreciate your visit and lovely comments!
