Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing my DT creation for the new challenge over at Artsystamper

The theme this week is 'Birthday' and we would love to see your wonderful creations! You can use any image brand. And if you use an Artsystamper image, you will have an extra chance of winning!

I have created an ATC using the vintage pink lace paper from the beautiful Tea Room digital paper kit; along with a vintage music sheet from my own stash. I have also used this stunning pre-colored rose from the Vintage roses and birds digital stamp set.

Here I have used this image of a 18th Century lady... don't you just love her?!

Happy Mother's day

Hello lovelies, hope you are keeping well and staying safe? Today there's a brand new challenge over at Artsystamper and the theme is 'Mum's the word'. The winner will receive a wonderful prize from the Artsystamper shop

This creation is very dear to my heart. I wanted to create something really special to remember my mom by, so I have used a vintage photograph of her as a young girl. The photo was taken in 1949 and hand-tinted by her brother, my Uncle Phillip.(my mom was around Seven years old) Sadly I never knew my Uncle as he passed away before I was born. My mom had Six older brothers and I remember her telling such fond stories of them all! My mom sadly passed away in 1997 (I was Twenty Two at the time) so young to lose a mother. I am so lucky to have had a wonderful relationship with her and so thankful that I had a great and exceptional woman as my mother. If I can be half the mother and woman she was, then I know I have achieved something in my own life. Love you so much Mom x

I have used this beautiful Daffodil digital stamp from the early Spring beauty set along with papers from my own stash.

To finish my tag, I have also used a piece of ruler ephemera to match the colour of the Daffodil stamp.

I hope that you will join in with the challenge over at Artsystamper the DT would love to see your wonderful creations! You can create anything, a card, tag, layout etc and you are not required to use an Artsystamper image, however, if you do you will gain an extra entry into the draw!

Thanks so much for stopping by, see you on the next one!

Wild and free!

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! There's a brand new challenge over at Artsystamper the theme is 'lots of layers'! and the winner will receive a wonderful prize from the Artsystamper shop.

For my DT creation I have designed a vintage Nautical card using this delightful vintage photo and these beautiful papers. The wonderful Starfish paper is from the Seaside wreath digital stamp and paper collection from Artsystamper and the distress grey paper is from Manu Design Studio. Although they are both winter kits, I have loved using them to create a nautical theme card!

To create my card, I layered these beautiful papers from the kit on to the front of a pre-scored Kraft card, the edges of the paper have been distressed with Black soot Distress ink.

Finally I added these lovely pre-coloured Starfish stamps from the Seaside Wreath kit and printed out a sentiment.

Top of the Mornin'

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! There's a brand new challenge over at Artsystamper the theme is 'Green green, it's green they say'! and the winner will receive a wonderful prize from the Artsystamper shop.

For my DT creation I wanted to design a card for St Patrick's day. Here I have used the wonderful Lucky Oxalis digital stamp and paper kit, (which is half price through St Patrick's day.)

To create my card, I layered these beautiful papers from the kit on to the front of a pre-scored Kraft card, the edges of the paper have been distressed with Walnut Stain Distress ink.

Next, I tore a sheet of paper from my vintage French dictionary. I like to collect old books from Thrift stores and I love adding vintage paper into my artwork!

I also adhered this darling St Patrick's day vintage image which I found on Pinterest.

Finally I added these lovely pre-coloured stamps from the kit and printed out a sentiment.

Time for Tea!

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! There's a brand new challenge over at Artsystamper the theme is 'hot drinks' and the winner will receive a wonderful prize from the Artsystamper shop

For my DT creation I have designed some 'Alice in Wonderland' Artist trading cards, using the beautiful Morning Glories and Lily's Tea Party digital stamp sets from Artsystamper.

I have used the wonderful Denim and Diamonds paper set from Raspberry Road Designs and these delightful Alice in Wonderland images that I found on Pinterest.

My grown up daughter loves 'Alice in Wonderland' and her name is also Lilli, so this theme was perfect and such a joy to create for!

I have created a mixed media background using a Tim Holtz diamond layering stencil and texture paste. Once the paste was dry, I then coloured the diamonds with Tumbled Glass Distress crayon; it's such a beautiful colour and matches perfectly with the background paper.

Next I adhered the 'Mad Hatter' image and the tea cup stamp, which I coloured with Prisma colour pencils. Over the top of that, I adhered the pre-coloured morning glories.

For this ATC I used the same technique, along with the Alice image.

Thanks so much for stopping by, see you on the next one!

Shabby Chic thank you card

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing my DT creation for Artsystamper. There is a brand new challenge over on their blog.

This weeks theme is 'Thank you', so I have created a shabby chic thank you card. I just love anything vintage and shabby chic; so I wanted to design a dreamy, shabby, romantic theme for my card!

Here I have used Artsystamper's stunning 'Mable's Rose' digital stamp which I coloured with Faber Castel pencils. I have also used some shabby pink paper and a music sheet from my own stash.

I have also used some kraft card along with an Xcut scalloped border punch.{I must say that this has to be my favourite border punch in my collection, it's so pretty!}

Once I had adhered all layers of card and paper to a blank pre-scored Kraft card with score tape, I then took a sponge and dabbed white acrylic paint over the card, making sure to add more to the scalloped border.

Finally, I adhered the rose stamp with Arlene's wet glue. I have also dabbed white acrylic paint over the rose to blend everything together. Thanks so much for stopping by, see you on the next post!
