Winter pocket card

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! There's a brand new challenge over at Arty Divas today. Our wonderful sponsors are Vectoria Designs and the winner will receive a fabulous prize from their Etsy shop. The DT and I would love for you to join in with the challenge and can't wait to see your beautiful creations!

I have used the stunning Winter junk journal kit to create my DT project. It is so very beautiful and there are so many lovely embellishments in the kit to create with.

Here I have used one of the pages from the kit along with a vintage photo. I have also adhered blue Cherry blossom and teeny white flowers along with some small die cut leaves. The stamped flowers are from heartfelt creations, which have been watercoloured with distress crayons.

For the inside of my card, I have used more papers from the Winter kit.

I have used one of the pockets that came in the journal kit and adhered it to the right side of my card.

I have altered the tags from the kit with fussy cut butterflies and another vintage image.

This paper is absolutely gorgeous, so I didn't need to heavily decorate it. But I have used one of my die cut snowflakes, which has been sprinkled with Decoart Glamour dust.

To finish my pocket card, I have decorated the back with some more paper from the kit.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I really do appreciate your visit!

Retro Valentines day card

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Tonight I am sharing another vintage Valentine card that I have created.

I have used this cute Valentine Dog image that I found on Pinterest.

Here I have used an altered Valentine Bingo card and the beautiful Pure love mini paper pack from Gecko Galz.

Once all layers of paper had been adhered to my card, I then used some Dreamees flower stamps along with Black soot Distress ink and red and white polkadot paper from my stash. I then fussy cut them and adhered them onto the bottom left corner of my card. I also added sticky back pearls to the center of those flowers.
The pink flower has been created using a Heartfelt creations stamp and die set, along with watercolour paper and Spun sugar distress crayons.

Thanks so much for stopping by, see you on the next post,

Shabby Chic thank you card

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing my DT creation for Artsystamper. There is a brand new challenge over on their blog.

This weeks theme is 'Thank you', so I have created a shabby chic thank you card. I just love anything vintage and shabby chic; so I wanted to design a dreamy, shabby, romantic theme for my card!

Here I have used Artsystamper's stunning 'Mable's Rose' digital stamp which I coloured with Faber Castel pencils. I have also used some shabby pink paper and a music sheet from my own stash.

I have also used some kraft card along with an Xcut scalloped border punch.{I must say that this has to be my favourite border punch in my collection, it's so pretty!}

Once I had adhered all layers of card and paper to a blank pre-scored Kraft card with score tape, I then took a sponge and dabbed white acrylic paint over the card, making sure to add more to the scalloped border.

Finally, I adhered the rose stamp with Arlene's wet glue. I have also dabbed white acrylic paint over the rose to blend everything together. Thanks so much for stopping by, see you on the next post!

The pink co-ordinating floral paper is from my stash included in a scrapbooking paper pad and the text paper is from the Sepia Ephemera collection.

Mixed media Artist trading cards

Hello lovelies, hope you are well! Today I am sharing my DT creations for Arty Divas . There's a brand new challenge over on their blog today, we would love for you to come and join us!

Our wonderful sponsor is Tandiart and the winner will receive a fabulous prize from their Etsy store.

For my DT creations I have designed some mixed media ATC's.

Here I have used these delightful Fairy faces digital stamps from Tandiart, I just adore them! I have coloured them with Faber Castel pencils.

I also used these colour Distress crayons  along with a star layering stencil and modelling paste.

Once the modelling paste had dried, I tore some text tissue paper and adhered it to my ATC's. I also added some ruler washi tape in random places. Finally I adhered the digital stamps with some pop dots and printed out the sentiments.

I have made some more ATC's with another collage set from Tandiart; and a tutorial on how I made them will be on my blog soon!

Winter Wishes- Artsystamper DT creations

Hello lovelies, Happy New Year, I hope you are well! Today I am sharing my DT creations for Artsystamper. There's a brand new challenge over on their blog and the winner will receive a fabulous prize from the Artsystamper shop.

I have created three designs using the Wintry paper pack and beautiful Snow Birds  digital stamp set, I just adore these darling birds!

For my first two creations, I have made some faux glassine bags from tracing paper {so easy!} I may do a future tutorial on how I made these!

Here I have used a vintage Bingo card and a torn page from a vintage French dictionary that I purchased from a thrift store! Next, I adhered this beautiful pre-coloured Chickadee from the stamp set.

For this faux glassine bag, I have created it as the one above, but have used the wonderful Blue Jay stamp from the stamp set.

For this card, I have used the Chickadee stamp once more; I JUST love him! I printed this winter scene photo which was free from Pixabay. and designed the whole card around it! I have also used the White pine cone paper from the paper set and a strip of corrugated card that I painted with White acrylic paint to compliment the photograph.

Here I have adhered some snowflake dies that have been sprinkled with Deco Art Glamour dust. They are SO sparkly! I also printed out the words 'Winter Wonderland'.

Finally, I adhered two Christmas tree dies from white and cream cardstock. I ran them through an embossing folder to give them some more detail. I have also added 3D snow to the tips of the branches. To Finish my card I have adhered the Chickadee stamp on top of the trees.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I really appreciate your visit! Hugs, Zowie xx
